I am writing this letter to inform you of the excellent training I received from Ron Porterfield concerning owning a gun, safety of loading, shooting and cleaning of my gun. Ron has taken me through the entire process of picking out the proper firearm, teaching me to safely load and shoot my gun. He is precise with his techniques for proper eye and ear safety, proper stance, proper hand placement, and a great coach with positive reinforcement on all aspects of his training. It was with no reserve I wanted Ron Porterfield to teach me the concealed carry class, knowing how relentless he is to get everything correct. Ron made sure I knew the Illinois Laws forwards and back, he always answered every question I had, and he made sure I understood the answer completely before going on to the next chapter. I would recommend this class to anyone who seriously wants to carry a weapon and feel confident they know all the guidelines that go along with this responsibility.
